Bennett's blessing day

Welcome little Bennett. We are so happy that you are here!

(Last week I had the opportunity to immerse myself in photography, family, and beautiful experiences. I loved every second of it. For the next couple of weeks I will put up the work I've been doing. Today is dedicated to an amazingly handsome young man. His name is Bennett and he is my nephew.

I got to watch my baby brother bless his baby on Sunday. Then, I got to cry as I listened to the beautiful testimonies born by my brother, sister-in-law, and mother. After the meeting we went to a small luncheon and put together an impromptu photo shoot in my brother's front room.)

He looks so happy to be here as well.

He is very sweet, from his hands...

...to his feet. (Hee hee)

Here's the beautiful little family all together.

As you can see, his momma loves him very much.

So does his daddy.

Even when it's time to hand him off.

Mom/Photographer

We went out to the beach yesterday to do a photo shoot of my kids and of my neighbors. Here's where I think I went wrong. My kids knew we were taking pictures, but that was not their main focus. How could I be so mean as to take them to the beach and not let them get in the water right away? So, we did this in stages. It was all fun and the day ended up beautiful.

My neighbors were wonderful. They are such a beautiful family.

honest opinions please

Ok, so I have been working on Ty's pic. I think I'm to a point where I'm done. I've had some people say that it may need a little something. I would like all of your honest opinions before I make the final cut and print it up for Mom and Dad.

Here are some other fun pics from this shoot. There were tons of fun ones. I'm just putting up a few that didn't make the cut.

Alexandria

I had the honor of photographing a beautiful little girl a few weeks ago. Her name is Alexandria and she just turned 1 yr old.

It took me a while to put these up. I was getting used to my new mac. I can't say which I like better yet, mac or PC. Once I am more comfortable with the functions on this one I may change my mind.

So here are a few of the pictures from the shoot. I had fun playing. Hope you enjoy.

Kristin, the disc will be in the mail on Monday. ;)

wild flowers

The wild flowers are gorgeous right now. There is a field that leads down into the canyon near my house that is covered in them. I thought I would share what I see everyday, taking and
picking up my kids from school

Don't Be Afraid of a Little Freedom

I've neglected this blog for way too long so, in honor of our new beginnings here in California, I am starting up again. Please stop by when you feel so inclined. I won't guarantee you will always like my photographs, but I hope you will. Either way, you will be able to see things through my eyes and my lens.

Enjoy!
